Furnish & Install CCTV Surveillance System with Subscription Package

Background
The Science Museum of Virginia, located in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking proposals to furnish and install a fully integrated and enhanced closed circuit television (CCTV) surveillance system. This initiative aims to modernize the current aging infrastructure, which consists of 39 cameras and is limited in scalability and integration with newer technologies. The museum serves over 500,000 guests annually and plays a vital role in informal science education. The goal of this contract is to ensure safety, security, and operational efficiency through advanced surveillance capabilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
1. Installation of a full suite of high-definition indoor and outdoor CCTV cameras across the facility.
2. Integration of existing cameras into the new system for unified monitoring.
3. Provision of flexible storage options including cloud storage for off-site data backup and on-premises storage capabilities.
4. Real-time streaming and recording of video footage to a centralized monitoring station.
5. High-resolution imaging (HD or 4K) for clear identification in various lighting conditions.
6. Plug-and-play configuration for easy installation.
7. Remote monitoring capabilities for authorized personnel to access live feeds from any location.
8. A service and storage subscription package that includes 24/7 technical support, cloud storage services, on-premises storage options, and continuous software updates.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon execution and will last for two years after the complete installation of the CCTV system.

The work will be performed at the Science Museum of Virginia, located at 2500 West Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23220.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must be registered in the Virginia state procurement system (eVA) prior to award. Additionally, contractors must have licensed business status through the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) and employ DCJS registered personnel.
