Fire-Resistant Moisture-Wicking Apparel DFND Brand Only

Background
The Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) is seeking quotes for the procurement of DFND Technologies flame-resistant performance short sleeve shirts. This contract is aimed at fulfilling firefighter station wear requirements and adheres to year-end procurement deadlines. The solicitation is brand-specific, allowing no substitutions as approved by the Department of Procurement and Material Management (DPMM) on April 9, 2025.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a total of 2,700 DFND FR Performance SS Shirts (Model FR208-NVY) in navy color with traditional sleeves. Sizes will range from Small to 4XL, including tall sizes, with the exact sizing breakdown to be provided upon award.

The contractor will also perform screen printing of Fairfax County logos on the front and back of the shirts, with final artwork to be supplied after the award. Additional services include screen setup and print service charges, as well as shipping costs (FOB Destination). Vendors must include unit prices for each shirt, upcharges for extended sizes (3XL, 4XL, talls), screen printing fees per shirt, one-time setup charges for screen printing, and estimated shipping costs.

Period of Performance
The delivery deadline for all goods is no later than June 21, 2025.

Place of Performance
Delivery will take place at the FRD Logistics Distribution Center located at 6800A Industrial Road, Springfield, VA 22151.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must confirm their status as an authorized reseller of DFND Technologies, Inc. products and provide a comprehensive written price quote referencing Quick Quote BPM070183. Additionally, vendors must submit a W-9 form if not already on file with Fairfax County and provide contact information for their primary sales/logistics point of contact.
