Fence Rental

Background
The County of Dinwiddie, Virginia, is seeking quotes for the rental and setup of fencing for the Dinwiddie County Fair and other special or emergency events throughout the year.
The 2025 Dinwiddie County Fair is scheduled to take place from October 17-19, 2025, at the Virginia Motorsports Park located at 8018 Boydton Plank Road, North Dinwiddie, VA 23803.
This solicitation is governed by the Virginia Public Procurement Act and the Dinwiddie County Purchasing Policies and Procedures.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services and materials:
1. Rental of 1,700 feet of 42-inch high 'bike fencing' or high steel barricades with a locking mechanism.
2. Provision of sandbags for the base of the barricades.
3. No gates are required; openings can be formed by separating fence panels.
4. The contractor must ensure that a technician is on-call 24/7 during the rental period to address any issues that may arise, particularly in severe weather conditions.
Contact numbers for technicians must be provided upon contract award.
5. Delivery location for rentals is specified as the Virginia Motorsports Park, with other locations to be determined for additional events as needed.
6. Setup must begin on October 15, 2025, with all setup completed by October 15, 2025, at 5 p.m., and all equipment removed by October 20, 2025.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period is twelve (12) months with options for renewal for up to four (4) additional years covering subsequent fairs in 2026 through 2029.

The primary location for performance will be at the Virginia Motorsports Park at 8018 Boydton Plank Road, North Dinwiddie, VA 23803.
