Environmental Services On-Call Services

Background
The Prince William County Office of Procurement Services is seeking proposals for professional consulting services related to Stream Restoration and Stormwater Quality Improvement Design, Water Resource Engineering and Design, and Natural Resource Studies.
This initiative aims to support various County Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects as well as other non-CIP projects.
The goal is to establish contracts for on-call services that will enhance the County's water resource management and environmental quality.

Work Details
The scope of work is divided into three main parts:
1) Stream Restoration and Stormwater Quality Improvement Design Services, which includes feasibility studies, planning, design, construction drawings, and obtaining necessary permits;
2) Water Resource Engineering and Design Services, which encompasses storm system analysis, floodplain studies, hydrologic analysis, and compliance with Virginia Dam Safety regulations;
3) Natural Resource Studies, including wetland delineation, habitat evaluation for endangered species, and preparation of Joint Permit Applications.
Each part requires licensed professionals with a minimum of ten years of relevant experience.
Specific tasks include stabilization of stream banks, pollutant reduction calculations, flood resiliency planning, dam safety inspections, and community rating service support.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will be one year from the date of contract execution or until the cumulative total project fees reach the maximum authorized amount as defined by Virginia law.
The contract may be renewed for three successive one-year periods under the same terms.

Place of Performance
Services will primarily be performed within Prince William County, Virginia.
