Background
Virginia Peninsula Community College, through the Virginia Community College Shared Services Center (SSC), is seeking bids from qualified firms to furnish and deliver engineering equipment. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the college receives the necessary equipment to support its educational mission. This solicitation is set-aside for DSBSD-certified micro businesses or small businesses, including women-owned and minority-owned businesses.

Work Details
The contractor will provide engineering equipment as specified in the solicitation. Bidders must submit a firm unit price that includes transport and delivery to the designated location at 99 Thomas Nelson Dr, Hampton, Virginia 23666.

The contractor is responsible for off-loading materials in neat stockpiles unless directed otherwise. Deliveries are expected to be completed by June 13, 2025, during normal business hours from Monday to Thursday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. A standard manufacturer warranty will apply to all equipment provided.

Period of Performance
The contract period will extend until June 13, 2025, with deliveries expected by the end of business on that date.

Deliveries will be made to Virginia Peninsula Community College located at 99 Thomas Nelson Dr, Hampton, Virginia 23666.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be DSBSD-certified micro businesses or small businesses by the due date for receipt of bids. They are required to submit a Small Business Subcontracting Plan and comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding discrimination in employment practices.
