Elevator Repairs on two (2) Otis Elevators at DFS Eastern Laboratory (Norfolk, VA)

Background
The Commonwealth of Virginia, through the Department of Forensic Science (DFS), is seeking qualified licensed and insured vendors to perform elevator repairs on two hydraulic Otis elevators located at the DFS Eastern Laboratory in Norfolk, VA.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational safety and reliability of the elevators used in laboratory operations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide repair services for two (2) hydraulic Otis elevators.
Specific tasks include but are not limited to: conducting a thorough inspection of the elevators, identifying necessary repairs, performing repairs as outlined in Attachment A (SOW and Pricing Schedule), and providing a labor rate for any additional unforeseen repairs that may arise during the contract period.
The contractor must also submit pricing electronically along with Attachment A, detailing the number of hours and hourly rates for labor.
A mandatory site visit is required prior to bidding.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe specified in the bid proposal.
There is an emphasis on timely delivery of services as per the agency's desired delivery time of 14-21 calendar days after receipt of order (ARO).

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the DFS Eastern Laboratory located at 830 Southampton Ave – Suite 400, Norfolk, VA 23510.
