Electric Forklift

Background
Arlington County Fire Department seeks to purchase an electric forklift. The cost for a new, not used forklift should include delivery and be available for immediate delivery.

Work Details
The electric forklift must meet specific requirements including lowered mast height not to exceed 87", 4 wheels with pneumatic tires, operation - sit, rated capacity of minimum 4,500 lbs. and maximum 7,000 lbs., raised mast height of minimum 175", wheelbase not to exceed 65", outside turning radius not to exceed 80", power - 80-volt electrical system, vehicle management system, regenerative braking system, zero turn radius turning, 2-stage mast with max visibility.
Safety requirements include forward lighting - LED, dual lights, reverse (black-up) lighting - LED, single light, brake light - LED, amber/blue strobe light - continuous activation overhead mounted, audible reverse alarm, load weight indicator, rear drive handle with horn button, mirrors - dual side, automatic parking brake.
Operational requirements include carriage with integral side shift and shifting forks.
Battery/charging requirements are a lithium-ion battery with battery side removal rollers and integrated rapid charging.
Warranty requirements include a minimum 36 months/6,000-hour powertrain warranty and a minimum 12 months/2000-hour full truck warranty.

Period of Performance
The work under this contract will begin upon receipt by the Contractor of an approved County Purchase Order (PO) and will be completed no later than the date indicated in the Quick Quote or on the PO.
