Doca-756-25-02 - Poly Bags - Food Grade For Processing Plants

Background
The Commonwealth of Virginia, through the Department of Corrections, is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to establish a contract for food-grade poly bags and liners for various Agribusiness processing plants. The goal is to procure high-quality materials that meet FDA standards for food contact, ensuring compliance with health regulations while supporting the processing of meat, juice, milk, kosher meals, and frozen vegetables.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide and deliver the following food-grade poly bags and liners:

1. 22" x 14" gusset x 27" - LINER - 1.5 MIL, Clear, FDA - 500/case (Quantity: 25,000)
2. 51" x 49" depth x 73" - COVER - 2 MIL, Clear, FDA - 55 bags/roll (5 Rolls = 275 bags)
3. 14" x 18" - BAG, 3 MIL, Clear, FDA - 500/case (Quantity: 15,000)
4. 4" x 6" x 2 mil, clear, FDA - 2000/roll (Quantity: 26,000)
5. 6" x 8" x 2 mil, clear, FDA - 1500/roll (Quantity: 25,500)
6. 14" x 14" gusset x 26" - BAG, 3 MIL, Clear, FDA - 500/case (Quantity: 10,000)
7. Research/Consultation services as needed (1 visit per year required).

All products must be made of approved food-grade material capable of withstanding freezer environments. The contractor must also provide five original Letters of Guarantee from the manufacturer confirming compliance with relevant standards and specifications.

Period of Performance
The contract period will be from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025. There are options for four additional one-year renewals.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to various locations including:
- Southampton Freeze Plant: Capron, VA
- Bland Agribusiness: Bland Farm Road, Bland VA
- State Farm Agribusiness: Main Warehouse Powhatan.
