DOC-26-018, Certificates and Frames for Service Awards

Background
The Commonwealth of Virginia, through the Department of Corrections, is seeking to procure certificates and frames for service awards. The goal of this contract is to design and manufacture high-quality awards that recognize the contributions of individuals within the department. This solicitation is set aside for small business award priority, emphasizing the state's commitment to supporting small businesses.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for designing and manufacturing the following items:

1. Certificate Covers: 11’’x17’’, scored and folded to 8.5’’x11’’, featuring a 2” diameter DOC gold foil stamp on the outside front panel, made from 100lb blue linen cover. Quantity: 1,500.

2. Frames: 11’’x13’’ dark wood frames with glass inserts, double matting (black on the outside and gold on the inside), foam core mounted certificates finished with paper backing and a hanging bracket. Quantity: 260.

3. Shipping materials including:
- Corrugated mailer boxes (Quantity: 260)
- Individual box labeling (Quantity: 260)
- Bubble wrapping (Quantity: 260)

Period of Performance
The contract performance period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe as agreed upon in the contract terms.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to the Virginia Department of Corrections located at 6900 Atmore Drive, Richmond, Virginia 23225.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be DSBSD-certified small businesses to qualify for this solicitation. Additionally, all vendors must register in eVA (the Commonwealth's electronic procurement solution) and comply with all applicable laws regarding business operations in Virginia.
