CRHA 25-B-002 Geneva Square Community Exterior Improvements

Background
The Chesapeake Redevelopment and Housing Authority (CRHA) is a public body established to provide decent, safe, and sanitary housing for low-income citizens in Chesapeake, Virginia.

The agency is undertaking exterior improvements to the Geneva Square Community as part of its ongoing rehabilitation efforts. This project represents the third phase of improvements aimed at enhancing the living conditions within the community.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, services, permits, inspections, machinery, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the exterior improvements at Geneva Square Community located at 700 Geneva Ave., Chesapeake, VA.

Specific tasks include compliance with safety regulations (including OSHA), provision of portable sanitary facilities, obtaining necessary permits and inspection cards from the City of Chesapeake, maintaining on-site security for equipment and materials, and ensuring proper disposal of trash and debris. The contractor must ensure that all work meets CRHA specifications and is subject to inspection by CRHA representatives. The job will be considered complete only after all final inspections are approved by the City and CRHA.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period begins with a Notice to Proceed and must be completed within 150 calendar days.

Work hours are restricted to Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., unless otherwise approved by CRHA.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Geneva Square Community located at 700 Geneva Ave., Chesapeake, VA 23323.
