Courthouse Exterior Door Replacement

Background
The County of Culpeper is issuing a contract for the replacement of exterior doors at the Courthouse located at 135 West Cameron Street, Culpeper, Virginia.

The project aims to enhance security through the installation of ballistic rated doors and ballistic panel infill for select windows. This initiative aligns with the County's commitment to ensuring safety and security in public buildings.

Work Details
The project involves the following tasks:
- Replacement of existing exterior doors with both non-rated and rated ballistic rated doors.
- Installation of ballistic panel infill to select windows.
- All associated construction services necessary for these installations.

The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, tools, equipment, labor, supervision, and any other services required to complete the work as specified in the Project Manual and Drawings.

Period of Performance
The contractor is expected to commence work within ten (10) days of receiving the Notice to Proceed from the County.

Substantial completion is anticipated within a specified number of consecutive calendar days from this notice, followed by final completion within an additional specified period.

The work will be performed at the Culpeper County Courthouse located at 135 West Cameron Street, Culpeper, Virginia.
