Community Water Improvements (Pulaski County PSA)

Background
The Pulaski County Public Service Authority (PCPSA) is seeking bids for the construction of community water system improvements in Pulaski County, Virginia. The goal of this contract is to enhance the water supply infrastructure, which includes the installation of new pumps, a water storage tank, and various water lines to improve service delivery to residents.

Work Details
The work includes:

1. **Bella Vista Tank and Pump Station Contract:** Installation of new pumps, appurtenances, controls, and communications at 5285 Thornspring Rd, Pulaski, VA 24301; construction of a new 150,000-gallon elevated water storage tank (150 feet tall), valve vault, and site work at 3288 Vista Road, Pulaski VA 24301.

2. **Waterline Contract:**
- **Hilton Village:** Installation and connection of a new pressure-reducing valve (PRV) interconnection between the Town of Pulaski and PCPSA water systems; construction of 8,700 LF of 8-inch water line; miscellaneous appurtenant piping, site work, and utilities.
- **Riverbend Subdivision:** Construction of 3,000 LF of 6-inch water line; miscellaneous appurtenant piping, site work, and utilities.
- **Bella Vista:** Construction of 2,700 LF of 6-inch water line; miscellaneous appurtenant piping, site work, and utilities.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period defined in Section 005200 'Agreement', with specific timelines for completion outlined in the bid documents.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations for performance include various sites in Pulaski County, Virginia specifically at addresses mentioned for the pump station and tank as well as along designated roadways for the installation of water lines.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide evidence of a Certificate of Registration as required under Section 54-1.1112 of the Code of Virginia. They are also required to demonstrate qualifications in pump station construction and elevated water storage tank design.
