Coarse Sand

Background
The Department of Military Affairs (DMA) is seeking bids for the procurement of coarse sand to support operations at the ARNG-MTC Fort Pickett. The goal of this contract is to provide approximately 100 tons of coarse sand, which will be delivered to specified locations within the range area. This procurement aligns with DMA's mission to ensure readiness and support for military training activities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide 100 tons of coarse sand that must meet specified quality standards. The delivery locations include Post 5, Range 2, Range 12, and Range 19. Bids must include pricing on a per ton basis and a grand total amount. Delivery coordination is required no later than 48 hours after award, with actual delivery occurring within 5 business days upon receipt of an approved purchase order. Each invoice submitted for payment must detail the quantity, description, unit price, and total amount owed.

Period of Performance
The effective date for this contract begins on February 6, 2023, with delivery expected within 5 business days following the issuance of an approved purchase order.

Place of Performance
Delivery will take place at specified locations within Fort Pickett, Virginia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered in the eVA Internet e-procurement solution and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The solicitation is set-aside for DSBSD-certified micro businesses or small businesses. Bidders must not be currently debarred by the Commonwealth of Virginia and must provide evidence of compliance with insurance requirements as stipulated in the solicitation.
