Child Care Providers Invitation for Bid Germanna Community College

Background
This solicitation is being conducted by the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) Shared Services Center on behalf of Germanna Community College (GCC). The purpose is to obtain Child Care Services from a Qualified Contractors List for the VCCS entities, which include 23 community colleges across Virginia. The goal is to provide essential childcare services that support the educational mission of the colleges and enhance workforce training opportunities.

Work Details
The Child Care Center shall provide comprehensive childcare services including invoicing on a monthly basis, accepting various funding sources such as DSS payments and CCAMPIS grant funding, and maintaining communication with the college. Responsibilities include:

1. Monthly invoicing with details such as center name, student-parent names, number of days used, fees charged, and any breaks in care.
2. Coordination of communication with the college through a designated person.
3. Submission of all DSS inspection reports with significant findings to the college liaison within 48 hours.
4. Acceptance of additional charges requiring approval as specified in Section 3 IV B.
5. Provision of payment for between-term childcare for eligible students under CCAMPIS funding.

Period of Performance
The contract term is from August 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, with six one-year renewal options available.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Germanna Community College located in Virginia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be DSBSD-certified small businesses or micro businesses to qualify for set-aside awards. They are required to submit a Small Business Subcontracting Plan and comply with all licensing requirements throughout the contract term.
