Bid # D00324 - Staunton Crossing Water and Sewer Extensions

Background
The City of Staunton is seeking construction services for the Staunton Crossing Water and Sewer Extensions project. The project aims to construct sanitary sewer, water main, and downstream sewer for Staunton Crossing development in City of Staunton, Virginia. The project will be constructed to City of Staunton Infrastructure Design and Construction Standards and will be subject to inspection by the City and their representatives during construction.

Work Details
The work consists of the onsite sewer construction of approximately 1,500 linear feet of 15” sanitary sewer, 5,560 linear feet of 12” sewer force main, and a triplex suction-lift wastewater pump station in a precast concrete building; the onsite water construction of approximately 386 linear feet of 8” water main, 175 linear feet of 12” water main, and 5,505 linear feet of 16” water main; the downstream sewer construction of approximately 4,900 linear feet of 18” and smaller gravity sewer and approximately 580 linear feet of 12” sewer force main.
The project also includes all necessary structures and appurtenances to serve the Staunton Crossing development.

Period of Performance
Bids are due on May 20, 2024 at 2:00 PM. The contract time is 450 days to Substantial Completion and 480 days to Final Completion. The contract could be executed as soon as two weeks after bid opening.

The project will be performed in City of Staunton, Virginia.
