Background
The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking to establish a term contract with a qualified vendor to supply Frozen Ground Beef Patties with Soy for the State Farm Agribusiness Meat Plant located at 3600 Woods Way, Building 29, State Farm, Virginia 23160. The goal of this contract is to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality beef patties that meet specific standards set forth by the Virginia Department of Corrections.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Frozen Ground Beef Patties with Soy, specifically 4 oz patties packed in 10 lb cases. The product must be completely frozen upon receipt, with a temperature not exceeding 0 degrees Fahrenheit (±5°F).

The estimated total weight for delivery is approximately 38,000 lbs, consisting of about 3,800 cases per truckload. All items must be produced, packed, and frozen within 90 days of the requested delivery date. The product must conform to specifications comparable to pre-approved brands such as New England Foods #120009 or an equivalent approved by the Virginia Department of Corrections.

Deliveries must be made on standard hardwood pallets that are properly wrapped and stacked. Partial deliveries are not acceptable.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will be for two years from the date of award, with three additional optional one-year renewal periods available.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to the State Farm Agribusiness Meat Plant located at 3600 Woods Way, Building 29, State Farm, Virginia 23160.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. They should provide evidence of their ability to meet product specifications and delivery requirements.

Bidders are required to submit samples upon request and provide detailed product information including nutritional labels and specifications. Additionally, bidders must be registered in eVA (the Commonwealth's electronic procurement system) and comply with any transaction fees associated with orders.
