Beacon Hall Lobby Area Improvements - 247-231621

Background
The solicitation is for construction services to renovate the lobby area of Beacon Hall into a new open front desk with offices adjacent to create a welcome center with a student gathering space that will be an amenity for the students.
The project is located at Mason’s Science & Technology Campus in Prince William County, Virginia.

Work Details
The services will include, but not limited to, relocation of three (3) offices; a new conference room for 10-12 people and 2-3 group study rooms that can accommodate approximately four (4) people each.
Work can be performed during the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Approval from Mason's Project Manager is REQUIRED for any work performed outside of these days and hours.

Period of Performance
The bid submission date is on Monday, 15 April 2024, and the bid opening date is on Tuesday, 16 April 2024.
The project award date is set for 25 April 2024.
The substantial completion date is set for 19 July 2024, with the final completion date being thirty (30) calendar days after substantial completion date.

Place of Performance
The project will be performed at Mason’s Science & Technology Campus in Prince William County, Virginia.
