Aviation Equipment Danville Community College

Background
Danville Community College, through the Virginia Community College Shared Services Center (SSC), is seeking bids from qualified firms to furnish and deliver aviation equipment. The goal of this contract is to provide essential equipment for aviation training and operations at the college, located at 1008 South Main, Danville, Virginia 24541. This solicitation is set aside for small businesses, particularly those certified as micro businesses or women/minority-owned businesses by the Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (DSBSD).

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and delivering the following aviation equipment:

1. P-1500, 230V - Portable power pack for magnetic particle inspection applications (1 unit).
2. 4/0 cable assembly, 15 ft - Quick Connect terminals QC-M to QC-F (2 units).
3. LED UV lamp, 115-230 V / 50-60 Hz (1 unit).
4. Standard Magnetic Kit - 39 in head opening, requires 115 V power (1 unit).
5. Remote palm switch for Magnetic Kit (1 unit).
6. SK-816 SPOTCHECK Kit - Includes visible red dye liquid penetrant kit with cleaner and developer (1 kit).
7. Y-2 Yoke Kit - AC yoke with detachable cord (1 unit).
8. Tool Steel Ring (AS-5282) - Test piece for magnetic particle testing (1 unit).
9. SKC-S Cleaner - Case of 12 aerosol cans (1 case).
10. Central conductor kit - Set of three conductors of varying sizes (1 set).
11. Standard QQI, CX-230 - Set of 5 units.
12. Pie Field Gauge (1 unit).

All items must be delivered to the specified location by June 15, 2025.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to conclude with the delivery of all items by June 15, 2025.

Place of Performance
The delivery location for all equipment is Danville Community College, 1008 South Main, Danville, Virginia 24541.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be certified as small businesses or micro businesses by DSBSD on the due date for receipt of bids to qualify for this solicitation. All bids must be submitted electronically through eVA; emailed or faxed bids will not be accepted.
