Addendum #1 - See Changes in Red - Service to Demo Bldg T1364 at Fort Barfoot

Background
The Commonwealth of Virginia, through the Department of Military Affairs and the Directorate of Public Works, is issuing this solicitation for the demolition of Building T1364 at Fort Barfoot. This facility is a World War II era structure that is no longer in use and requires complete demolition to clear the site for future use.

The primary point of contact for this contract will be Billy Cole at DPW, with Kevin Stock serving as the Navy's facilities manager.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the complete demolition of approximately 5,310 square feet of wood construction, specifically a 2-story barracks located off Military Road between Kemper and Dearing Avenue on Fort Barfoot. The scope includes:
1. Removal of all structural elements including walls, roofs, and foundations.
2. Proper disposal of all debris in accordance with local regulations.
3. Ensuring safety measures are in place during demolition to protect workers and nearby structures.
4. Restoration of the site post-demolition to meet environmental standards.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe specified by the contractor's proposal, but no later than 60 days from the start date.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Fort Barfoot, located in Blackstone, Virginia.
