Background
New River Valley Community Services (NRVCS) is a public provider of behavioral health services to residents of the New River Valley, serving children, adults, and families through community-based programs for mental health, intellectual disabilities, substance use disorders, and related prevention services.
Established in 1969, NRVCS operates in Floyd, Giles, Montgomery, Pulaski counties, and the City of Radford. The agency is part of a state-wide system of Community Services Boards in Virginia.

Work Details
The contract involves interior renovations at 7191 Warden Court including:
- Demolition of all flooring (two layers VCT and one cell core floating floor) throughout the facility.
- Demolition of five restrooms (four full and one half).
- Saw cutting the slab from each restroom and along the center hall for new under-slab drains.
- Installation of new under-slab drains for five restrooms, utility sink, two laundry areas, and two floor drains to meet national building codes.
- Backfilling saw-cut areas with stone and securing concrete pour to finish grade.
- Preparing the entire slab for commercial-grade glue-down LVT flooring installation throughout the facility.
- Installation of two new 50-gallon electric water heaters.
- Hanging and finishing half-inch MR drywall in five restrooms.
- Installation of four tile showers, five water closets, five wall-hung lavatories with new single-handle faucets.
- Repairing drywall damage from demolition or installation work.
- Priming and painting all interior walls, ceilings, casework for windows and doors, as well as all interior doors.
- Installation of ADA-compliant grab bars in restrooms and mirrors above sinks.
