Background
The project is issued by Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC) and focuses on the repair and replacement of exterior storefronts and doors at several buildings on the Annandale campus.
The goal is to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of the campus facilities.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the following:
- Selective demolition of existing storefronts and doors.
- Installation of new aluminum-framed entrances as specified in Division 08 - Openings.
- Provision of door hardware as per specifications in Division 08.
- Glazing work to ensure proper installation of glass elements in storefronts and doors.
- Application of high-performance coatings as detailed in Division 09 - Finishes.
- Compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations, including obtaining necessary permits.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed and is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe determined based on the bid submission.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Northern Virginia Community College, Annandale Campus, located at 8333 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, VA.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered vendors in eVA. They are required to submit a Bid Bond for bids exceeding $500,000.
Bidders must comply with licensing requirements as per Virginia law, specifically being licensed as a Class A or Class B Contractor depending on the contract amount.
