Background
The Hanover County Department of Public Utilities (DPU) is responsible for maintaining public water and wastewater infrastructure for over 100,000 citizens in Hanover County, Virginia. The county has received AAA bond ratings from major agencies due to its sound fiscal management and growing tax base. This Request for Proposal (RFP) aims to establish a term contract for on-site calibration, maintenance, and repair services for water and wastewater instrumentation and associated equipment at various DPU locations throughout the county.

Work Details
The contractor will provide on-site calibration, maintenance, and repair services for water and wastewater instrumentation. Services include:

1. Calibration Services: Utilizing OEM calibration methods with certified test equipment; affixing tags to calibrated equipment; maintaining documentation logs; performing verification tests as needed; ensuring overall system integrity through comprehensive calibration of transducer to recorder loops.

2. Maintenance/Repair Services: Diagnosing and repairing equipment/instrumentation; providing documentation and certification for control loops; performing mechanical and electrical installation services; servicing laboratory equipment as specified. All services must comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and continue through November 30, 2025, with options for renewal.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations throughout Hanover County, Virginia, specifically at the Department of Public Utilities facilities.
