Background
The Hanover County, Virginia, Finance and Management Services Department is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to obtain bids from qualified contractors for the installation of four individual metal carport structures. The goal of this contract is to enhance the facilities at the Hanover County Criminal Justice Academy, aligning with the county's mission to provide necessary infrastructure for public safety operations.

Work Details
The contractor will furnish and install four (4) metal carport structures with gravel grading. Specific details include:

- Dimensions: 26' Wide x 45' Long x 12' High
- Framing Gauge: 12 gauge
- Leg Height: 12'
- Sides: 3' Panel
- Left Side: Add J-Trim
- Right Side: Add J-Trim
- Ends: Gable end (Horizontal)
- Roof Style: Vertical
- Roof Color: To closely match existing buildings, subject to approval from the Hanover County Sheriff's Office.
- Ground Anchor: Required.

The contractor must provide all necessary tools, equipment, labor, and supervision to complete the project as specified.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence from the date of award and continue through the completion of the project.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Hanover County Criminal Justice Academy located at 7236 Courtland Farm Road, Hanover, VA 23069.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered in eVA (Virginia's electronic procurement system). Contractors must hold a valid license as a Class A, B, or C contractor depending on the total value of contracts undertaken within a specified period. Additionally, contractors are required to maintain insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation documents.
