The Western Virginia Regional Jail Authority (WVARJA) is seeking proposals from qualified food service providers to operate the Jail’s food service program. The Jail operates under a cook-chill system but is considering transitioning to a cook-serve model. Work Details
The contractor will provide management, labor, food, materials, and supplies necessary for a cook-chill food service operation for 550 to 950 inmates and staff, including special diet meals, seven days a week. The contract will last for one year with the possibility of annual extensions up to five years. Key requirements include:

2. Provision of a detailed operational plan and per-meal pricing structure.
