2025-072 Service Pistols for WVRJA

Background
The County of Roanoke is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) #2025-072 to procure service pistols and accessories for the Western Virginia Regional Jail (WVRJA). The WVRJA is replacing its current Glock 21, 30, and 42 duty pistols with Glock 47 duty pistols, along with necessary accessories. The officers at WVRJA are certified law enforcement professionals committed to serving their community.

Work Details
The successful bidder will be required to provide the following items:

1. Glock 47 duty pistols equipped with tritium sights and three magazines each (Quantity: 160).
2. Holosun SCS Green Solar MOS optics (Quantity: 160).
3. Streamlight TLR7X rechargeable weapon-mounted lights (Quantity: 160).
4. Alien Gear Rapid Force Level 3 holsters (Quantity: 170).
5. Alien Gear Quick Detach System (QDS) (Quantity: 208).
6. Alien Gear Rapid Force Paddle holsters (Quantity: 3).
7. Alien Gear Rapid Force Belt Slide holsters (Quantity: 25).
8. Alien Gear Rapid Force Dynamic Drop Leg holsters (Quantity: 12).
9. Safariland Slimline open top double magazine pouches in various configurations (Total Quantity: 205).
10. Ammunition exchange program for .45 and .380 caliber ammunition to 9mm ammunition, including:
- Jacketed Hollow Point Ammunition (Quantity: 9500)
- Total Metal Jacket Ammunition (Quantities: 21500 and 11000)
- Additional exchanges for .380 caliber ammunition.
11. A buyback program for existing Glock weapons, including a total of:
- Quantity of Glock 21 in good condition: 65
- Quantity of Glock 21 out of service but repairable: 4
- Quantity of Glock 30 in good condition: 2
- Quantity of Glock 42 in good condition: 2.
12. All firearms must be new, free from defects, and meet specified requirements including compatibility with Holosun optics and specific holster configurations.

Period of Performance
The contract period will extend until the expiration of the warranty for the purchased models and accessories. There is a requirement to deliver at least 15 weapons by March 20, 2025, and all items no later than May 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
Delivery is to be made to the Western Virginia Regional Jail located at 5885 West River Rd, Salem, VA 24153.
