20245 Ford Transit Van Partitions

Background
The Southwest Virginia Regional Jail Authority (SWVRJA) is responsible for managing four facilities that currently house approximately 1,650 inmates. The agency is seeking to enhance its transport capabilities by installing prison transport partitions in three 2024 Ford Transit Vans. This initiative aims to improve the safety and security of inmate transport.

Work Details
The contractor will provide and install the following products for three 2024 Ford Transit T-350 12-Passenger Low Roof vans with a 148” wheelbase and Sliding Passenger Side Door:

1. **Havis Front Partition** (3 units)
- Item Number: P-Front-3
- Construction: Top – 12-gauge steel (diamond shape openings), Bottom - 12-gauge steel, with ¼” Lexan covering diamond openings.
- Finish: Medium Texture Black Polyester Powder Coat Finish.

2. **Havis Front Partition Filler Panels** (3 units)
- Item Number: P-MFK-10
- Designed for use with P-Front-3.

3. **Havis Middle Partition** (3 units)
- Item Number: P-MID-2
- Construction: Top – 12-gauge steel (diamond shape openings), Bottom - 12-gauge steel, with ¼” Lexan covering diamond openings.
- Finish: Medium Texture Black Polyester Powder Coat Finish.

4. **Havis Middle Partition Filler Panels** (3 units)
- Item Number: P-MFK-12
- Designed for use with P-Mid-2.

5. **Havis Rear Partition** (3 units)
- Item Number: P-REAR-3
- Construction: 12-gauge steel with an emergency hatch in the top center, featuring heavy-duty slide bolts with provision for a padlock.

6. **Havis Rear Partition Filler Panel** (3 units)
- Item Number: P-MFK-15
- Designed for use with the rear partition.

7. **Havis Window Guards** (3 sets)
- Item Number: WGI-F24
- Includes window guards for eight windows with installation hardware.

8. **Window Tinting**
- Windshield: No Tint
- Front Side Windows: 35%
- Rear Side Windows and Rear Door Windows: K9/Limo Tint.
Installation will be required, and the vendor must pick up the vans and return them after installation.

Period of Performance
The work should preferably be completed before Monday, June 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
Installation will take place at Southwest Virginia Regional Jail Authority located at 15205 Joe Derting Dr., Abingdon, VA 24210.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide detailed product specification sheets, warranty information, and any other applicable attachments on the eVA Quick Quote page by Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM. The contractor must also maintain appropriate insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation.
