Background
The County of Fairfax, Virginia, is seeking to establish a contract for IT Hardware and Related Services through competitive negotiation. This contract will serve both the Fairfax County Government (FCG) and Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) on an as-needed basis. Work Details
The contractor will provide a range of IT hardware and related services including:
1. Personal Computer Systems: Intel-based business-grade PCs with accessories such as mice and keyboards. All PCs must be Windows 'LOGO' certified by Microsoft.
2. High-End Desktops for application developers and CAD professionals.
3. Laptops with wired and wireless capabilities for remote access users.
4. Tablets for mobile productivity.
5. Rugged Portable Solutions for public safety users.
6. Workstations connected to LAN/WAN networks.
7. Servers for departmental use in network configurations.
8. Monitors that meet UL and OSHA requirements, with a minimum standard of 24-inch screens.
9. Storage Devices that provide scalable capacity for business continuity.
10. Collaboration Tools including conference room technologies and peripherals.
11. Comprehensive services including systems configuration, testing, asset management, maintenance, service & repair, logistical support, imaging, training, spare parts provision, web catalog management, consulting services, bulk purchasing options, project management, and delivery logistics.
Period of Performance
The contract period will be five years from the date of award with potential renewals based on satisfactory performance.

Services will be performed within Fairfax County, Virginia.
Bidder Requirements
Offerors must have a working knowledge of the E-Rate program and be a Category 2 service provider under this program. They are required to submit a Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) with their proposal and agree to cooperate fully with FCPS/FCG's E-Rate Program to ensure funding eligibility.
