Background
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish and deliver Galvanized Steel Sheet Pile. This contract aims to support the infrastructure needs of the Commonwealth of Virginia, specifically for the Dinwiddie Bridge Crew located at 13717 Richie Road, Dinwiddie, VA 23841. The goal is to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials necessary for construction projects.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish and deliver a total of 40 pairs (80 single sheets) of PZC 18 galvanized steel sheet piles, each measuring 40 feet in length. The steel sheets must be hot-dipped galvanized according to VDOT Road and Bridge Specifications 2020, Section 233.

Delivery is required between June 9, 2026, and June 12, 2026, with a minimum of 24 hours' notification prior to delivery. Deliveries can only occur Tuesday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM. The contractor must ensure that all items are delivered free on board (F.O.B.) to the specified location.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and will continue until the delivery of goods is completed, specifically from June 9, 2026, through June 12, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at VDOT Dinwiddie Bridge Crew located at 13717 Richie Road, Dinwiddie, VA 23841.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a Small Business Subcontracting Plan (SBSP) if they are not certified as a small business by the Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (DSBSD) by the bid closing date. Additionally, bidders must register in eVA and comply with all applicable laws regarding business operations in Virginia.
