Background
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is soliciting sealed bids from qualified firms to provide Class 8 Dump Trucks, Tri Axle, Regular Cab for delivery Statewide. The potential for multiple awards is considered to ensure availability to satisfy VDOT’s needs when an immediate requirement arises.

Work Details
The equipment offered in response to this Invitation for Bids shall be new, unused, and a current production model. The machine furnished shall be Class 8 Dump Trucks, Tri Axle, Regular Cab configuration. The specification includes options that may be used during the life of this contract to purchase various optional equipment, technician training, and operational training for the equipment denoted in the product specification. The technical specifications include requirements for the base standard cab and chassis, dump body-steel, optional items, and warranty requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract period is one year from the date of award with an option to renew for four successive one-year periods.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed statewide.
