SSLC Davis Tank Lid Replacement

The work required under this contract involves the removal and replacement of the lid of a steel drinking water storage tank. Additional tasks include abrasive blasting and coating of the tank's interior, recoating the tank's exterior at locations specified in the Contract Drawings and at any areas affected during construction, cleaning the interior of the tank after work completion (with the OWNER responsible for disinfecting the tank before it is placed back into service), and restoring any areas of the site disturbed during construction. This project is being requested by the City of South Salt Lake. The contract, titled 'SSLC Davis Tank Lid Replacement,' is publicly advertised as an invitation to bid. The City of South Salt Lake is seeking qualified contractors to perform the specified work on the Davis Tank, a steel drinking water storage facility. Contract requirements specify that bids must be submitted through the Utah Public Procurement Place website (Bonfire) by 2:00 PM on 9/12/2025. Bids received after this deadline will not be opened. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the South Salt Lake City Council Room, 220 E Morris Ave., South Salt Lake City, Utah 84115, on the 2nd Floor, at 2:00 PM on 8/21/2025, and attendance will be recorded. Submitted bids will be opened and read aloud at 2:30 PM on 9/12/2025 at the same location. A 5% Bid Security is required. The City of South Salt Lake reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
