Background
Salt Lake County (SLCo), through its Arts and Culture Division, seeks to engage a qualified firm to provide consulting services specializing in building signage. The goal is to enhance the patron experience by improving navigation and communication through effective signage at various venues, including Abravanel Hall, Capitol Theatre, Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center, and Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center.

The existing signage is outdated and inconsistent, which affects the overall brand impression and visitor flow.

Work Details
The consultant will conduct a Venue Wayfinding Signage Assessment that includes:

1) Inventorying all existing interior and exterior building signage across the specified venues.
2) Categorizing signage relevant to branding, wayfinding, and audience communication while identifying gaps.
3) Evaluating building architecture and crowd flow to inform signage needs.
4) Providing recommendations for updating existing signage and creating new signage tailored to each venue while maintaining consistency.
5) Establishing design and placement standards aligned with current branding guidelines, including accessibility considerations.

The assessment will also include cost estimates for each category of signage.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be executed upon selection of the proposer, with a proposed schedule of 3-4 months from the notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at multiple venues in Salt Lake County, specifically Abravanel Hall, Capitol Theatre, Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center, and Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center.
