Slaughterhouse Asbestos Removal

Background
Payson City is seeking qualified contractors to complete the Slaughterhouse Asbestos Removal project. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safe removal and disposal of asbestos from an old slaughterhouse building, adhering to all relevant regulations set forth by the EPA, OSHA, and the State of Utah DEQ.

Work Details
The contractor will furnish all labor, equipment, and materials required to properly remove and dispose of all asbestos within the old slaughterhouse building. All work must comply with EPA, OSHA, and State of Utah DEQ regulations.

The project also requires securing and paying for all necessary permits, including County and OSHA excavation permits. The contractor is responsible for providing insurance, bonds, labor, materials, tools, utilities for construction, temporary facilities including sheeting and shoring, traffic control measures, and dust control measures.

Period of Performance
The work must be completed within 30 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The project will be performed at 515 E Canyon Rd, Payson, UT 84651.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate the ability to perform at least 50% of the work without subcontracting. They are required to provide a detailed project schedule and a traffic control plan according to the latest MUTCD requirements.

Additionally, bidders must submit a list of completed projects similar in nature to this project along with references.
