Sewer Infiltration Mitigation & Repair Project

Background
The Sewer Infiltration Mitigation & Repair Project is initiated by Weber County on behalf of the Little Mountain Sewer Service Area (LMSA). The LMSA operates a three-cell aerated sewer lagoon system serving West Weber. The goal of this project is to address infiltration issues affecting the performance of the sewer collection system, particularly at a manhole located at 9300 W and 900 S. Inspections in July 2023 revealed damage and leaks.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Sewer Infiltration Repair Services, which include:

1. Project Management and Coordination - Manage the project team and subcontractors, control the schedule and budget, and report progress to the LMSA Board Manager.

2. Data Gathering and Preliminary Inspection - Review video inspections, perform field inspections, and provide a preliminary report with recommendations and estimated costs.

3. Sewer Infiltration Mitigation Tasks - Conduct air and vacuum testing, raise manholes as needed, and recommend mitigation methods.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe specified in the bid documents.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in West Weber, specifically focusing on the sewer lines around the manhole located at 9300 W and 900 S.
