Santaquin City Water Reclamation Facility Phase III Improvements (CM/GC services)

Background
Santaquin City is seeking to enter into an agreement with a qualified and motivated Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) to assist the City and its contracted Engineer (J-U-B Engineers) with the detailed design and construction of Phase III of the City’s Water Reclamation Facility (WRF).
This project aims to enhance the facility's treatment and biosolids handling capacities, ensuring a fully functional, efficient, safe, and secure WRF.
The facility is located at approximately 1215 North Center Street, Santaquin, Utah.

Work Details
The Project will include the following key components:
1. Upgrading the Center Street lift station to a triplex submersible pump system with associated valving, electrical controls, piping, electrical building, and required bypass pumping during construction activities.
2. Converting an existing biosolids holding tank to a third biological process train including all necessary aeration equipment, pumping systems, blowers, mixers, discharge piping, flow meters, electrical controls, etc.
3. Adding a new Veolia (GE, Suez) Zenon membrane bioreactor (MBR) train into an existing basin within the WRF building which includes piping, valves, gates, baffle plates, chemical feed system extension, actuators, pumping systems, motors, blowers, headers, controllers, meters, electrical systems, mechanical systems and tank coating.
4. Adding an additional reclaimed water pump and related equipment for operation.
5. Constructing a new biosolids holding tank with associated piping, valves, controls and pumps.
6. Constructing a new solids handling support building including blowers and dewatering feed pumps along with associated electrical and HVAC/plumbing work.
7. Adding solids load out facilities to the existing dewatering building which includes screw conveyors and controls as well as building additions and roll-up doors along with electrical and HVAC improvements.
8. Upgrading the UV disinfection system by adding new bulbs and relocating equipment to the existing channel.
9. Retrofitting former treatment lagoons to serve as additional storage ponds at the existing winter storage ponds facilities.
10. Performing site civil work and yard piping as required along with offsite piping improvements and enhancements to electrical systems.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon award and will continue until all phases of construction are completed as per project specifications.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Santaquin City Water Reclamation Facility located at approximately 1215 North Center Street, Santaquin, Utah.
