Description

The City of South Jordan seeks proposals from experienced and qualified licensed drivers to provide snowplowing services for 50 miles of lanes in the Daybreak Subdivision for the winter season.
Background
The City of South Jordan is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified licensed drivers to provide snowplowing services for the winter season. The goal of this contract is to ensure effective snow removal for 50 miles of lanes in the Daybreak Subdivision, enhancing safety and accessibility during winter weather conditions.

Work Details
The contractor will provide snowplowing services for 50 miles of lanes in the Daybreak Subdivision. This includes snow removal as delineated on the Exhibit A map and spreading salt as needed.

The City expects to award a two-year agreement for these services on an 'as-needed' basis, with an option to renew annually for up to three additional years. Contractors must have a minimum of two seasons of plowing experience and possess at least four 4-wheel-drive 1-ton pickups (2014 or newer) equipped with a minimum length 8'2" 'V' plow, salt spreader, amber strobe light, and personal protective equipment for drivers.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed during the winter season, with an initial term of two years and the option to renew annually for three additional years.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in the Daybreak Subdivision within the City of South Jordan.
