Remodeling WSU Lindquist Hall room 022 into a lab

Background
Weber State University (WSU) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) under the State of Utah Procurement Code, WSU’s Policies and Procedures, and the Utah State Board of Regents Rule R571. The purpose of this solicitation is to remodel WSU Lindquist Hall room 022 into a lab, with the goal of entering into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for remodeling WSU Lindquist Hall room 022 into a lab. This includes all necessary construction work as specified in the updated plans and specifications provided on the Buyer Attachment page.

The project is defined as a one-time purchase, with WSU reserving the right to procure additional products based on this bid for up to 120 days after the initial purchase.

Period of Performance
The contract will be executed as a one-time purchase, with work expected to commence upon award and completion dates specified in the bid documents.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Weber State University, specifically in Lindquist Hall room 022 located in Ogden, Utah.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled for May 21, 2025. They are required to provide a 100% payment bond and a 100% performance bond before work begins. Additionally, bidders must submit a five percent bid bond.

Insurance requirements must also be met as outlined in the IFB.
