Pump Station # 3 Capacity Improvements

This contract seeks to secure all necessary labor, materials, tools, and equipment to perform capacity improvements at Pump Station #3. The work includes adding two pumps to the existing pump cans at Pump Station 3, installing two additional mainline drains to the existing Traverse Transmission Line (TTL), replacing the current surge tank compressor and related appurtenances, making lighting and electrical upgrades to the pump station, and rehabilitating cathodic protection facilities along the TTL, all as detailed in the project plans and specifications. Portions of the work will be conducted under critical shutdown schedules, requiring coordination with the City to manage water supply to residents on Traverse Mountain during these periods. During shutdowns and tie-ins to the existing Traverse Line, only a limited and fixed volume of water from the City's storage reservoirs will be available to maintain supply to these residents. The solicitation is issued by the Engineering Division. Bid documents and specifications will be available on U3P-Bonfire on or before Tuesday, July 22nd, 2025 at 12:00pm. A 5% Bid Bond is required. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, July 31, 2025, in the Draper City Hall Council Chambers, 1020 E. Pioneer Road. Questions related to the scope of work, response submittal, or process must be submitted electronically via U3P-Bonfire before 5:00pm on Friday, August 8th, 2025. Electronic bid responses must be submitted on U3P-Bonfire by 1:00pm on Thursday, August 14th, 2025; late responses will not be accepted. At the stated time and date, responses will be publicly opened, with only the names of submitting firms and their total bid amounts read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend.
