Prepaid Legal Services for State Employee

Background
The Division of Purchasing is issuing a solicitation for Prepaid Legal Services for State Employees. This initiative is part of their mission to provide essential services to state employees, ensuring they have access to legal support when needed.

The Division has recently migrated to a new Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P) platform to streamline the procurement process.

Work Details
The contract will encompass various legal services including, but not limited to:
- Legal services provided by attorneys
- Process serving
- Legal research and support
- Guardian or guardianship services
- Custody services
- Insurance and retirement services including life, health, and accident insurance, as well as insurance services for structures, properties, possessions, pension funds, retirement funds, and bonds.

The solicitation emphasizes that responses must be submitted through the new U3P platform; submissions through the previous system will not be considered.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be open for responses from November 26, 2024, until January 6, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be provided for state employees within the jurisdiction of the Division of Purchasing.
