Pleasant Grove NATHANIEL DRIVE WATERLINE AND ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

Background
The Pleasant Grove NATHANIEL DRIVE WATERLINE AND ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT involves the installation of approximately 5570 linear feet of C-900 water line, about 3,150 ft of pavement section replacement, fire hydrants, and service line replacements. The project falls under the commodity codes for construction services including sewer maintenance and repair, roads and highways, excavation and backfill services, levee and dam construction, digging, ditching, road grading, rock stabilization, equipment rental or lease, and energy conservation.
The project is managed by the DFCM Division Facilities and Construction Management.

Work Details
The work includes the installation of approximately 5570 linear feet of C-900 water line with fittings at an average bury depth of 4 feet to top of the pipe, including valves, fittings, water services, irrigation services, fire hydrants, and sampling station. It also involves the removal and rehabilitation of approximately 12,100 square yards of roadway asphalt and road base. Additionally, it includes the removal and disposal of an existing Pressure Reducing Vault (PRV).
Furthermore, the project encompasses approximately 2,420 feet of 8” PVC C900 water main and fittings at an average bury depth of 4 feet to top of the pipe on the west side of Murdock Canal Trail. This includes valves, fittings, water services, irrigation services, fire hydrants, and sampling station as well as cutting and patching asphalt for approximately 1,422 square yards of roadway asphalt and road base.
