Offender Management System for the Utah Department of Corrections

Background
The Utah Department of Corrections (UDC) and the Utah Board of Pardons & Parole (BOPP) have issued a Request for Information (RFI) to identify vendors with experience in developing, implementing, and providing maintenance of a cloud-hosted Offender Management System (OMS). The purpose of this RFI is to obtain information, comments, or suggestions from potential bidders or offerors before issuing a request for proposals (RFP). It is important to note that this RFI does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), and the State of Utah makes no express or implied commitment to award a contract for any goods or services described herein. The information received from this RFI will be analyzed and may be used to develop a subsequent competitive solicitation.

Work Details
The work involves the development, implementation, and maintenance of a cloud-hosted Offender Management System (OMS) for the Utah Department of Corrections and the Utah Board of Pardons & Parole. The system should be capable of managing offender data and related processes. Vendors with experience in providing cloud services, data services, rental or leasing services, online database subscription services, programming, hardware or software engineering, applications training services, software maintenance, computer hardware maintenance, website design services, internet domains, database management software support, disaster recovery services, support services, police services, fire services, jail and prison systems, court systems, and rescue services are encouraged to respond.
