NSHS Auditorium Remodel

Background
The Sevier School District is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to remodel the existing auditorium at North Sevier High School located at 350 W 400 N, Salina, Utah. The goal of this contract is to enhance the functionality, aesthetics, and user experience of the auditorium through comprehensive renovations.

Work Details
The project includes a complete remodel and renovation of the existing auditorium spaces. Specific tasks include:

1. Control Booth: Demolition and remodel of the control booth, installation of new finishes, millwork, and lighting, and upgrades to electrical, data, and audio-visual infrastructure.

2. Dressing Rooms: Renovation including new flooring, wall finishes, ceiling treatments, lighting, and casework with necessary mechanical, electrical, and plumbing improvements.

3. Dressing Room Restrooms: Full remodel including fixture replacement and compliance with ADA standards.

4. Storage Rooms: Remodel with new finishes, shelving, lighting, and ventilation systems.

5. Auditorium Interior Finishes: Replacement of flooring and installation of new wall treatments and ceiling finishes for improved acoustic performance.

6. Auditorium Seating (Alternate #1): Removal and replacement of existing seating with all labor and materials included.

Period of Performance
The project is expected to begin upon contract execution with substantial completion targeted by August 1, 2026.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a Bid Bond or Certified Check equal to at least five percent (5%) of their bid amount. They must also provide a list of subcontractors within 24 hours after bid opening for approval by the Owner.
