Jenson Farm Park - Phase 2 Improvements

Background
Draper City is requesting bids for the Jenson Farm Park Phase 2 project. The goal of this contract is to enhance park amenities and perform related site work, which aligns with the city's mission to improve recreational spaces for community use.

Work Details
The scope of this project includes providing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the construction of stream bank improvements, trails, and landscaping as described in the project plans and specifications. Specific tasks include:

1. Storm Water Pollution Prevention - Development of a plan and implementation of best management practices.
2. Clearing and Grubbing - Removal of vegetation, noxious weeds, trees, old fences, and debris.
3. Asphalt Removal - Removal of existing asphalt as identified in the site preparation plan.
4. Earthwork - Excavation and grading required for the park site.
5. Installation of various components including RCP pipes, concrete flatwork, asphalt paths, root barriers, hammock posts, sign posts, stream channel realignment, stream edge boulders, gabion baskets for streambank stabilization, precast concrete retaining walls, pre-engineered pedestrian bridges (two sizes), wood fencing, picnic tables (including ADA compliant), benches (including city logo cutout), irrigation systems, topsoil placement, crushed stone placements for various areas including hammock gardens and water access borders.
6. Planting activities including installation of deciduous trees (various sizes), evergreen trees, willow live stakes, and installation of steel plant edgers.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and is scheduled to be completed by May 2025 when the owner-supplied pavilion is delivered to the site.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Jenson Farm Park located in Draper City.
