Background
Jefferson Academy is seeking proposals for a Food Service Management Company (FSMC) to operate its food service program. The goal of this contract is to provide nutritious meals to students while complying with all applicable state and federal regulations. The contract will be between the School Food Authority (SFA) and the FSMC, with the SFA responsible for the overall management of the food service program.

Work Details
The FSMC will be responsible for managing the food service operations, which includes:
- Operating under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), Afterschool Snack Program (ASP), Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), and other Child Nutrition Programs as applicable.
- Providing a fixed price per meal that includes direct costs of operation, administrative fees, and management fees.
- Ensuring compliance with all USDA and state regulations regarding food safety, nutrition standards, and program requirements.
- Submitting a complete response to this solicitation using only the forms provided by Jefferson Academy.
- Retaining all income from meal sales in a non-profit school food service account.
- Preparing and serving meals using USDA donated foods when available.
- Implementing an accurate point of service meal count system to ensure proper reimbursement from federal programs.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for one year starting July 1 and ending June 30, with the possibility of up to four additional one-year renewals based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Jefferson Academy located at 1425 S Angel St., Kaysville, UT 84037.

Bidder Requirements
