Highland City- 10400 N 6000 W Intersection

Background
Highland City is issuing a solicitation for the construction of the 10400 N 6000 W Intersection project. The project aims to improve road infrastructure, aligning with the city's mission to enhance public safety and accessibility. The contract will facilitate necessary upgrades to existing roadways and pedestrian pathways, ensuring compliance with local standards and regulations.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Cutting existing asphalt approximately 850 linear feet
- Installing approximately 715 linear feet of curb and gutter
- Constructing approximately 3,470 square feet of concrete sidewalk
- Installing storm drain infrastructure
- Restoring existing surfaces and facilities.

Specific tasks include mobilization, traffic control, construction surveying, installation of silt barriers, saw cutting asphalt, relocating existing utilities (including signs and water meter boxes), installing new water services, relocating fire hydrants, adjusting manholes and valves to grade, proof-rolling subgrade, compacting roadbase, paving with hot mix asphalt (HMA), constructing sidewalks with base, installing driveway approaches, curb and gutter systems, ADA ramps, street lighting including conduit installation, and restoring irrigation systems.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be substantially completed by October 15, 2026, with final completion by December 31, 2026.

The project will be performed at the intersection of 10400 N and 6000 W in Highland City, Utah.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with the Utah State Contractors License Law. A bid bond of five percent (5%) is required. Bidders must also provide evidence of their authority to do business in Utah upon execution of the agreement.
