Fix the Bricks Project 601

Background
The Fix the Bricks Project 601 is a federally financed community development project, and all rules and regulations governing such projects will be applicable. The scope of work for Fix the Bricks Project 601 includes various tasks such as obtaining building permits, seismic retrofitting, installation of pins, bolts, framing anchors, blocking, and straps as per engineering plans, bracing of chimney(s), installation of new roof covering to match existing, cleaning up and removal of all construction debris, additional seismic improvements for unreinforced masonry/wood gable walls, and detailed seismic improvement procedure at permitting.
The project involves residential building construction services including general residential construction contractor services and new residential construction and remodel services.

The period of performance for this contract starts from the release date on January 22, 2024, with a pre-bid meeting scheduled for January 29, 2024. The sealed bids are to be submitted by February 5, 2024. The public opening of bids is set for February 7, 2024.
