EMC WWTF Wastewater Expansion Oxidation Ditch Upgrades GMP 2

Background
Eagle Mountain City is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the EMWWTF Wastewater Expansion Oxidation Ditch Upgrades project, which is part of a larger 6.0 MGD MBR Wastewater Expansion project. MGC, Inc. has been selected as the Construction Manager/General Contractor for this project. The goal of the contract is to improve the existing oxidation ditch's rated capacity to 2.0 million gallons per day (MGD) average daily flow, addressing current loading issues and optimizing treatment processes.

Work Details
The scope of services includes construction of an MBR facility and upgrades to the oxidation ditch to achieve a total average daily flow design capacity of 8.0 MGD. Specific tasks include:
- Early work package consisting of pumping and piping for process intensification in the existing oxidation ditch.
- Preconstruction services including design review, guaranteed maximum price (GMP) development, and procurement services for qualified subcontractors and equipment.
- The construction duration is expected to be 9 months, starting in July 2026.

Place of Performance
The project will be located at the Eagle Mountain Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF), specifically at 2515 N Pony Express Blvd, Eagle Mountain, UT 84005.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a bid bond of 5% of the total project cost with their proposal. Successful bidders are required to submit a 100% performance bond and a 100% payment bond upon contract signing. Additionally, bidders must be prequalified with Eagle Mountain City prior to submitting proposals.
