DFCM Maintenance - Stage II Janitorial Services - Invitation to Bid - Orem Public Safety

Background
The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is requesting bids for janitorial services at the Orem Public Safety facility. Only contractors who have been prequalified under a Stage I Prequalification for Janitorial Contractors and are currently on the DFCM Prequalified Janitorial Contractors list as of the date of this solicitation are eligible to bid on these services. The goal of this contract is to ensure high-quality janitorial services are provided to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the facility.

Work Details
The contract involves providing comprehensive janitorial services at the Orem Public Safety facility located at 759 North 1370 West, Orem, UT 84057. Specific service requirements are detailed in 'Attachment C, Specifications' and 'Attachment D, Scope of Work' of the DFCM Janitorial Services Contract. The contractor will be responsible for regular cleaning tasks including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining overall cleanliness of the facility.

The estimated annual budget for these services is $21,116.22.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from August 1, 2026, and will terminate on July 31, 2029, making it a three-year contract.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Orem Public Safety facility located at 759 North 1370 West, Orem, UT 84057.

Bidder Requirements
Only contractors who have been prequalified through Stage I Request for Statement of Qualifications are allowed to bid on this Stage II Invitation to Bid. Additionally, bidders must comply with all licensing laws as required by the State of Utah and must maintain appropriate insurance coverage including workers’ compensation insurance and commercial general liability insurance.
