Background
The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is requesting submittals for consultant services on the following project: UNIFIED LAB 1- BUILDING CONTROLS UPGRADE for the DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES in Taylorsville, UT. The project involves upgrading the BSL3 lab, hoods, and all related building automation systems to improve existing conditions, including building/room/lab static pressures, speed, reliability, and serviceability.
The construction budget for this project is $3,300,000. The selection process will be under the Value Based Selection method.

Work Details
The work should be well planned with phasing to minimize and avoid disruptions and risks during construction while staying on schedule and within budget.

Period of Performance
The solicitation will be available at 3:00 PM on 5/22/2024 on the Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P) website. A MANDATORY Pre-Proposal Meeting and Site Visit will be held at Unified Lab – Conference Room 104A, 4431 South 2700 West, Taylorsville, Utah on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Proposal dates for the required references, management plans, statements of qualifications, and interviews will be based on the Project Schedule included in the Solicitation for A/E Services.

The project will be performed at Unified Lab – Conference Room 104A, 4431 South 2700 West, Taylorsville, Utah.
