Background
The Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) has selected Okland Construction Company, Inc. as the Construction Manager / General Contractor for the construction of the UU Price Computing and Engineering Building. The building, located in the engineering precinct of the University of Utah campus in Salt Lake City, Utah, will be a 5-story steel-framed structure with 244,000 SF of space and 57,000 SF of below-grade parking.
The building will serve as an instructional, research, and office education facility with additional support and community spaces.

Work Details
Okland Construction is soliciting proposals for several components of the project, including Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), Earthwork and Utilities, and Shoring & Underpinning. Each component has a bid due date of 4/5/2024 at 1:00 PM MDT, with an expected start date of 5/6/2024.
