DFCM Construction-Snow College Social Science Bldg-24274700-VBS Program/Design

Background
The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is soliciting the services of qualified firms/individuals to perform programming and design services for the construction of a new 45,000 square foot Social Science Building at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. The project aims to accommodate an expected rise in enrollment by 2027, with a need for 20 additional classrooms. Social Science courses have the highest enrollment of all classes at Snow College, with 42% of students taking these courses to fulfill general education requirements.
The existing Home and Family Life Building, along with Greenwood Hall and the Cottages, will be demolished as part of this project. The construction budget is set at $31,000,000.

Work Details
Snow College is seeking programming and design services for the construction of a new Social Science Building. The initial contract award will be for programming only, with the possibility of DFCM awarding design services after satisfactory completion of the programming. The selection process will be under the Value Based Selection method.
A MANDATORY Pre-Proposal Meeting and Site Visit will be held at Snow College on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Submittal dates for required references, management plans, statements of qualifications, and interviews will be based on the Selection Schedule included in the Solicitation for Programming and A/E Design Services.

The construction project will take place at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah.
